About Us
For over 20 years, Lloyd and Mary Cooper have assisted non-profit organizations in increasing revenue and expanding their donor base.

Benefit Bidding have had the privilege of serving non-profit organizations in North Texas since 1990. Their clients are provided support and guidance throughout the entire planning process. Private and public schools, churches, foundations, booster clubs and other civic organizations have benefited from the firm’s services. The Benefit Bidding team conducts auctions for groups as large as 1,000 and as small as 25. In 2009, customized online auctions were added to Benefit Bidding’s menu of services. The company’s name was changed from Lloyd Cooper Auctioneers to Benefit Bidding.

The Coopers understand your concerns. They have served as volunteer chairs for several fundraising auctions of various sizes – from school booster clubs to a gala for a national non-profit organization. For each event, Lloyd and Mary were responsible for comprehensive event development: volunteer recruitment, marketing, sponsorship and auction item solicitation, audience development, venue selection, event logistics…everything involved in creating a successful fundraising auction. They want to help you experience the overwhelming gratification which results from a successful fundraising auction. They are personally committed to helping every client achieve record-breaking results. You and your event team will reap a multitude of benefits from their experience, professional training, expertise, and unique fundraising strategies.

Your event committee will invest significant time and effort to obtain auction items and encourage guests to support your mission. The professionals at Benefit Bidding provide you with tools and techniques to reach – and exceed – your revenue goals. You will receive extensive consulting and support from the Benefit Bidding team from initial planning through event follow up. By hiring a professional benefit auction team, you can be assured that you are working with an auctioneer who is experienced in engaging and motivating audiences to open their wallets.

He is an active member of the Texas Auctioneers Association (TAA), National Auctioneers Association (NAA), graduate of the Professional Ringman Institute, graduate of the NAA Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) program and a candidate for the NAA Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI) designation. Lloyd previously served on the Board of Directors of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Northeast Texas Chapter. He served in the U.S. Navy and attended Washburn University. In his free time, Lloyd is an amateur vintner and owns a private vineyard. He has dabbled as a brewmeister and received a national award for his American Pale Ale. Lloyd enjoys golfing and sporting clays, skeet, and trap.

The Benefit Bidding team is distinctive from other fundraising auctioneers. They listen to your concerns and needs – and provide solutions. They have been in your shoes. The principals of the company have served as chairs for large galas, smaller school events, and auctions for individuals in need. They conduct fundraising auctions only – and provide unique, creative ideas for your event.
